Many boundary issues present themselves in ministry. For one, because you care. But how much should you care? It can result in a quantitative problem where it’s not a bad thing, just a too much thing. Everything human has a limit and you must put limits on the expenditure of your time and resources, and delegate the rest to others. What are you doing that the Body should be doing? The other issue is a boundary problem around qualitative giving; sometimes you’re giving in ministry to things that are not helpful because they’re enabling. People must be responsible for themselves. Ultimately, your mission is only as good as your ability to say no to things that are not your mission. Don’t miss this invaluable wisdom from Dr. Cloud around boundaries in ministry.
