When you think about freedom, freedom is basically what God granted mankind when He created us and delegated autonomy and choice to live our lives. So many parables are about God granting us freedom than holding us responsible for it. Think about that in terms of the fabric of a Church. When it’s all about control, there’s not a lot of freedom and responsibility in that; maturity recognizes the need for freedom.
