Overview

The first category of relationship is disconnection; even though there are people around, we don’t feel connected or understood, which leads to a feeling of helplessness. The second category is when in a relationship, we feel like we’re bad or not good enough. The third category is when we seek some sort of good feeling, so we enter a pseudo-relationship whether that’s with another person or even a substance, but that doesn’t get real or fuel us. The fourth category is real connection. A good relationship fuels you and gives you the support and energy you need. Learn from Dr. Cloud what to do if you find yourself in a relationship category that you don’t want to be in.
